Its proximity to the main public transport stops, by land and by sea, also makes it an ideal starting point for excursions to the other renowned towns of the Amalfi Coast (Ravello, Amalfi, Positano), Sorrento, Naples and Vesuvius, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum, Salerno, the Royal Palace of Caserta and the islands of Capri and Ischia.

  • From the north: A3 motorway (Naples–Salerno–Reggio Calabria)

    • Option 1: exit Angri Sud, continue to the Chiunzi Pass and follow the signs for Maiori.
    • Option 2: exit Vietri sul Mare, continue on the SS 163 “Amalfitana” towards Amalfi, following the signs for Maiori.

  • From the north: A30 motorway (Rome–Salerno)

    • Option 1: exit Salerno, then continue on the SS 163 “Amalfitana” towards Amalfi, following the signs for Maiori.
    • Option 2: exit Nocera, then continue to the Chiunzi Pass and follow the signs for Maiori.

  • From the south: A3 motorway towards Salerno

    • Exit Salerno and continue on the SS 163 “Amalfitana” towards Amalfi, following the signs for Maiori.
